Michael has had a fascination with photography since childhood, however, later in life it has become a more important aspect of his life. He sees photography as a means to bring the beauty of creation to other people. Life is too valuable and precious to him to just let it pass by. Michael and his wife, Suzanne live in Northern Michigan in a log home on their flower and berry farm. Much of his wildlife photography comes off the farm or location close by it. I managed to find it online..took a while lol. It looks like it could be an immature Giant Mesquite Bug. Definitely a fiesta on that leaf :) Great shot...of a very unusual bug!
Michael Peychich replied:
Thank you Luke for identifying it for me, I had tried to find it earlier but could not.

Neal, thank-you for featuring my little Mexican friend in your group Macro Photography.

JC and Pamela, thank you for your comments, the bug looked like it was painted. I hope to find out what it is.
