An old windmill found in the For-Mar Nature Preserve and Arboretum in Genesee County, Burton, Michigan. The park has plenty of trails for hiking and there is a wide variety of birds to bee seen in the preserve. Dempster Industries has been around since 1878 making windmills. Their Annu-oiled works on a slight breeze and only requires oiling once a year. This on is an eight foot fan wheel. These are used for pumping water.
Michael has had a fascination with photography since childhood, however, later in life it has become a more important aspect of his life. He sees photography as a means to bring the beauty of creation to other people. Life is too valuable and precious to him to just let it pass by. Michael and his wife, Suzanne live in Northern Michigan in a log home on their flower and berry farm. Much of his wildlife photography comes off the farm or location close by it.
